Saunton East

This wonderful links course has played host to many major national and international championships during its 110 year history.

A completely natural layout set amid the spectacular sand hills of Braunton Burrows the East Course provides a peaceful environment with only the sound of the sea for company. It also provides a great test of golf for all standards.

Nick Faldo has been one of its many fans since playing here as a boy. To quote his own words: "I've no doubt that if the East Course were located on the coast of Lancashire or Kent it would have hosted an Open Championship by now".
